[ Henry perks up at the sight of it. ]

Hey, you got those for me?

[ See there Dodger is doing weirdly sweet things? He's touched he would bring him the goods instead of that hack of blacksmith. Makes him feel a bit of pride in his work too, when people believe in him.

He comes over to take a coffee and sit beside Dodger. ] I've heard of it, but I haven't had any.

[ It seems too hot to drink immediately, so he just kind of...sniffs it. ]

[It's black coffee, but everything here seems to be higher quality than Dodger is used to. So even though he doesn't really have a sense of taste, he's been enjoying the smell of it. All rich and chocolatey and slightly fruity.]

It's bitter, and a little sour. But it'll wake you up. Most people put sugar into it, but you don't try it plain first you're never going to get used to it.

[He takes a sip of his own coffee - temperature doesn't matter and he can't taste it, so he's drinking it like it's water. And after the first sip, he leans his head gently against Henry's shoulder with a contented sigh.]

The rest of what I brought is just for sex. But I figured breakfast was a better way to start things out.

It smells interesting.

[ unlike anything he's really smelled before. He waits a moment and then takes a little sip of it, wincing through the heat of it. Yeah maybe his tongue is a little burnt, it's fine. ]

Oof. Yeah. [ It is indeed bitter and sour, but it's not the worst thing he's ever tasted? he reaches for a donut too. ] And this is a donut.

[ He takes a bite of it and winces again. He was indeed correct in thinking it was sweeter than a koláče. But it's also ... very soft? Kind of pleasant and — oh, the very sweet donut goes well with the bitter coffee. Janosh would be so proud of him right now. ]

I do appreciate a nice breakfast, thanks.

[Dodger's gaze follows the donut, and then locks onto Henry's lips while he's eating - that same look he had while watching Henry eat a burger, utterly enraptured by the sight of him chewing. And, now that Henry's got more experience with Dodger's reactions... this is definitely a sexual thing for him.

It takes him a moment for him to process the gratitude, and he blinks dumbly for a moment longer before answering.]

Yeah. No problem.

[He's just gonna... stuff a whole donut in his mouth.]

[ Henry is just happily munching away on that donut until it kind of clicks that Dodger is really watching him like he did back with the burger.

It's. Well, it's a first. He drops the donut and takes another almost-too-hot but giant swig of the coffee. ]

Anyway, did you take, ah, your potion then?

Not yet.

[His gaze slips back down to the donut, back to Henry's mouth, and he licks his lips.]

I wanted to wait until we were... y'know. In it. I don't know how long it lasts.

[Dodger hesitates, before sitting back up properly. He goes back into his bag to pull a few things out. Two glass vials, one pearlescent white and the other resembling rainbow jelly, and a mason jar of milky white liquid. And, after some extra searching, a metal straw. He points to them in order while he speaks.]

This one is Viktor's potion, this is something I picked up as a back-up in case it doesn't work, and this will make us last longer if we're having fun. The straw's just because those jars are a bitch to drink out of.

Makes sense, I suppose.

[ He nods a little, sipping on his coffee a bit more as he watches Dodger start to unpack things. He has to say it's a little impressive how prepared for this he is. It's also maybe a little strange, but what about Dodger isn't at this point.

There's a little chuckle about the straw. ]

Alright, fair enough. I think you've got everything covered, then.

[Dodger brightens up - he doesn't plan things out very often, but he does like to think of himself as someone who prepares for whatever he might need. And it feels nice to get complimented on it.]

This is serious business, I didn't want to fuck it up.

[Mostly, he's just been very worried about burning Henry. And that's part of the reason for the shower of gifts, it feels very important for this to be an overall good experience even if something happens.]

Just... don't take anything I say too seriously, after I take it. It's... a love potion, technically. So I'll probably act funny.

Of course. This seems... as sensible as it can be.

[ It's all a little strange of course, but he is taking it seriously and he hopes he's showing that. Anyway, Henry has been made to participate in much more absurd things in the past.

Hearing it's some kind of love potion though makes his eyebrows go all the way up. ]

Wait, really? Viktor just- you can do that? [ He shakes his head quickly ] Nevermind, anything is possible here, I'm learning.

Anything is possible. [Dodger confirms.] Between the shit the House makes and what the people here can do with it, we can get anything we want. The only limit's our creativity.

[He's not going to fully explain the Rube Goldberg machine of discoveries that led to this potion - partly because it's a lot of mostly-pointless information, partly because it involves a lot of messy drama that isn't Dodger's to tell (and that he really doesn't want to be involved in), and partly because he likes to keep his crushes separate as much as he can. Which means not talking too much about Esikko, who found the flower Viktor made this out of.]

Finish your coffee, eat another donut. Then you can take me for a spin.

[And he's eating another one too - properly chewing this time, although he still eats like a stray dog.]

I think I'm going to have to start getting a lot more creative.

[ Not that he isn't, this is just a lot of things constantly thrown at him that most of the time he hasn't even had a concept for before now. It's harrowing at times. But he'll appreciate the potential eventually.

he glances at his coffee. ] Yeah, alright.

[ Casting Dodger a quick look, he picks up another donut and eats it ... as normally as he can when he knows he just may be observed during the process. ]

[Dodger focuses at first on drinking his own coffee - really just chugging it, even if it makes his next breath come out visibly hot. But predictably, his attention is drawn back to Henry eating, and he nearly misses when he goes to stick his empty cup on the nightstand.

He is trying very hard to be normal about this, but that effort is doing pretty much nothing. So once again, he's staring at Henry like a hungry dog. He even licks his lips again at one point.]

You look good when you're eating.

[Maybe it'll be less weird if he just addresses it himself. Yes.]

[ He chews carefully, taking a sip or two of coffee in between, like this is the most normal breakfast date he's ever had. ]

Thank you? [ He's not sure what else to say to that, honestly.

Popping the rest of his donut in his mouth, he washes it down with the rest of his coffee. ]

I wasn't going to ask about the staring.

Oh.

[Well, that's embarrassing. He chews his cheek a bit, but figures in that case he should drop it.]

Well, now you know, I guess.

[Dodger stands up, and stretches briefly before shrugging off his jacket, and working on getting his shirt off. It's not quite flashy enough to be called a strip tease, but he does want Henry to watch and appreciate him. Really, he just figures he's been fully dressed for long enough while the younger man is mostly-naked.

The more skin he reveals, the more partly-healed scratches appear. On his arm, his chest, some along his hips, all the same age as his lip injury. It looks a little like he got in a fight with a wild animal.]

[ Henry smiles warmly at that, shaking his head. He just wants to try and keep it light, so he jokes a little. ]

I didn't say you had to cut it out.

[ If he finds Henry's chewing attractive, well. It's not exactly hurting anything outside of being weird. And it's not weird in a way that it turns Henry away. He knows too many weird people, is the moral of the story.

But he puts his hands behind him and leans back to watch Dodger's sort-of show. It's amusing for a minute, but seeing all the scratches and injuries does worry him a bit. He's seen injuries like that all the time, half the time on his own body. The little ones can really sting. ]

Are you sure you're alright? I could make a — well, they probably have some sort of salve you could put on those.

[ He remembers the painkillers Dodger brought to him after the ... last time. ]

[He shrugs.]

I'm fine. I'm already on painkillers.

[He isn't, he's on heroin. But that's pretty much the same thing anyway.

He kicks off his pants, thankfully not revealing any damage on his legs. Today's boxers read pull the lever, win a prize. He leaves them on for now, while he climbs into Henry's lap and seek out a kiss. For now it's brief, giving Henry room after to keep working on his coffee.]

Anyway, it was fun when I got them. That makes it worth it.

[And even if they scar, they'll blend right in with all of the other scars littering his body.]

Alright. If you insist.

[ He isn't sure he wants to pry further. And honestly, enjoying what you did to get the scars is indeed entirely different from getting them while, say, falling off a cliff to an impending demise.

Henry warms up to the kiss, pulling back from it with a lazy little smile. A full cup of caffeine for his very first time may, in fact, have adverse effects. Not that he knows this, but now that Dodger is on his lap, he seems fine with letting what little is left go cold. ]

I'd say I'd be careful, but you wouldn't like that, would you.

[Dodger grins at that, and seeks out another kiss.]

No, I wouldn't. I want you to be a rough as you can manage.

[Idly, while they're kissing, he takes Henry's cup and clumsily moves it to the nightstand. Already forgotten, by the time he sets it down. He's shifting instead to make himself more comfortable, and roll his hips a bit while his lips are straying down to Henry's neck. He's already half-hard from watching the younger man eat, so of course he doesn't even need the potion to be all over him.]

[ Henry's response to that is a hum against the kiss. He's not necessarily agreeing to be as rough as possible, but he is acknowledging it. And it doesn't surprise him.

Dodger's roll against him makes him grunt softly as his cock starts to wake up. ]

You don't have to be careful with me either, by the way.

[ Going at it like they hate each other may not be Henry's thing but he's also not fragile. ]

[He lets out a snort, and leans in to press his lips to Henry's ear.]

I do have to be careful, or I'll hurt you. But I appreciate the sentiment.

[Just to prove his point, he shifts he press his lips to Henry's neck again, and then bites down hard enough to pierce the skin. It barely takes any force, but he is trying to keep it at a level where the blood will bead but not drip.]

[ Just for that, Henry is determined not to react to the bite, even though it takes him off guard. He just wasn't expecting something like that immediately. There may or may not be a muttered kurva in his breath somewhere though. ]

... Superhuman strength aside.

[ he manages. He isn't fragile for a guy with no superpowers or magic. He doesn't want to be treated like he's breakable, even if he is to someone like Dodger. Wishful thinking, maybe. But the medieval concept of masculinity is real... ]

[Dodger takes a moment to run his tongue over the bite-mark, before leaning back up to seek out another kiss.]

I'll keep getting rougher until you can't handle it, how's that?

[He's working up to it, because it's hard to shake the feeling that he's going to injure Henry without meaning to. And even if he's started sleeping with more humans lately, those instincts die hard.

One more kiss, before he leans back to grab Viktor's potion, uncork it and down the whole thing. Immediately, his skin heats up a bit, but... it's taking a little longer for him to feel the change. Mostly, he just knows something is shifting.]

[ Dodger's tongue against the stinging flesh sends a strange thrill dipping down into his stomach, yet another thing he's just not going to think about. It certainly will be appreciated if Dodger keeps himself in check for his sake. In an unspoken way of course. ]

I just want you to do what feels natural to you. Within reason, of course.

[ Not biting him just bite him, but because he's lost in the moment and that's the only thing that makes sense. Maybe that's too poetic and romantic of Henry in a weird way, but he said what he said.

He tips his head back slightly to watch Dodger down the potion, unable to hide his curiosity in his expression. ]

Did it taste good?

Might've. I can't taste anything.

[He guesses that doesn't come up in conversation much. He can taste some things, mostly spice and alcohol, but mostly he tastes cigarette ash. And as far as he can tell from the smell, if that potion had a flavor it probably wasn't good.

That feeling is starting to spread through him properly now - he's taken this on his own, he knows roughly what to expect, but it's very different to have an object of affection for it to latch onto. He's finding himself very aware of every place their skin is touching, and when he speaks again his voice has a sort of dreamy quality to it.]

You smell really good.

[At some point he'll soul-search about why that tends to be the first thing out of his mouth every time he gets drugged. But not today.]

... Oh.

[ Well that's certainly a reveal. Henry is a little dumbfounded for a second there. He supposes they can talk about it later if it comes up, only because he's really curious. As usual.

Other things have a priority now though, and he has to laugh a little at that almost drunken sounding confession. ]

Thank you, I just woke up.

[ He huffs in amusement, sliding his hands down Dodger's sides to rest on his hips as he gives his own a little bump. ]
