[Dodger tenses a little further at that squeeze, but he leans into it anyway. Trying to communicate that it's good, that he wants it, even if he's uncomfortable. He relaxes again when Henry's hands move upward, and he gets out a soft sigh while they travel over him.]

You can get rougher than that.

[He seeks out another kiss, and nips Henry's bottom lip. Softly at first, and then sharply enough to break the skin.]

[ The signals are a little mixed to Henry, but if Dodger more or less tells him to continue, he will.

He's about to answer - and it's probably not the most well thought out answer anyway- but Dodger kisses him. Henry melts into it just enough to really startle when Dodger bites down on him. He can't kurva it out, so he just hisses the pain. The handfuls of Dodger's ass he grabs do come out a bit harder as a result.

Before he can think too much about whether his lip is bleeding, he presses into the kiss harder too, like that might soothe the sting a bit. ]

[The combination of the harder kiss and the proper grope to his ass earns a startled moan, and a pulse of heat that runs through his body before he manages to control himself.]

[Dodger rolls easily with the motion, shifting to make himself comfortable and letting out a shaky breath when Henry takes his place on top. It comes with a fresh wave of anxious energy, a fresh tension in his body and a nervous look in his eyes. but... he can handle this. [ It's nice to hear that Dodger trusts him, Henry's chest pooling with warmth at the thought. But he can't really dwell on that now, especially when his cock is finally freed and given some attention. ]

[He tries to relax into the bed, even if he's still nowhere near as calm as he wants to be. One of his hands moves to Henry's hair, petting him to try and soothe himself further.]

Just... go slow, stop if I start breathing hard.

Alright. [ He nods slowly, leaning in to kiss Dodger softly again.

He knows, he knows Dodger likes it rougher, but Henry just feels the need to be ... reassuring. Or supportive. Or something. ]

[ he eases himself between Dodger's legs, sitting up a bit now so he can open up the lube and slick up his fingers (these modern containers really are so convenient and easy). He doesn't go for it immediately. Instead he places the pads of his clean fingers against Dodger's stomach, climbing down carefully. Places a couple of kisses against the warm skin of his stomach and near his navel as he moves down. Only then does he attempt to ease his fingers between the cheeks of Dodger's ass, giving a light test to pressing against his entrance but not attempting to breach the muscle yet. ]

[Honestly, Dodger wants this to be rougher. Faster, harder, too overwhelming to think through. But that's exactly the problem, he wouldn't have the time or lucidity to stop Henry before his heat started to flare. He has to admit, this is the safest option for both of them.

Dodger props himself up a bit on one elbow, just enough to watch Henry moving downward. This is good, the kisses are helping quell some of that anxious energy. His breath is picking up slightly but it's from arousal more than anything, the anticipation that builds as those fingers move closer to his hole.

He tenses up sharply again, when he feels them pressing against it. His grip on Henry's hair tightens briefly, before he forces himself to relax. Deep breath.]

[ Unfortunately(?) for Dodger, Henry can't really imagine how he could be anything but careful at this time. Clearly this is very important for Dodger and even Henry can see that the man is on thin ice with actually being "okay" with this, potion or not. He'd not only be pushing Dodger, he'd be putting himself in some kind of danger if he disobeyed his instincts on this one.

Watching quietly, even through the slight wince at the tug to his hair (not that it was bad though), he eventually gives one nod and decides to at least give things a try. ]

Alright then.

[ His voice is soft, his touch somehow lighter as he starts to press the tip of his index finger inward, just barely pushing past the resistant muscle. It's just about half of his fingernail's length he gets to. Honestly he's a little anxious to do anything more yet. Dodger's nerves are rubbing off. ]

[He can handle this. He can handle this and it's going to be fine because he trusts Henry and nothing about this is something he doesn't want-

Dodger's body pulses with heat immediately, sharply enough to feel like a bonfire spitting, and he pulls away to put some distance between their skin. His eyes are wide and his breathing is fast and erratic, and for a moment he seems to be staring past Henry. Really, he isn't looking at anything.

After a few moments, he tries to take deeper breaths. Which doesn't really work, but at least it gives him the room to speak.]

Fuck- Are you okay?

[ As if licked by the flames of this figurative bonfire, Henry immediately withdraws both of his hands with a quick, sharp hiss. ] Shit-

[ He braces himself against the mattress with his cleaner, less stinging hand, shaking the other a little bit as though that's going to help. But it's just brief. He doesn't want Dodger to think he's very injured. It's just like he touched some tongs or part of a blade without gloves on at the forge and didn't think about it, that's all. ]

I'm fine. It's nothing.

[ Not to him, anyway. He has concern in his eyes as he looks across as Dodger. He wants to touch him, to soothe him or reassure, but he doesn't think that will make it anything but worse. ] Are you?

[His skin is slowly cooling back down, even if his effort is split between that and taking deeper breaths. There's likely some burn marks left on Henry's sheets, but that barely registers in his mind compared to the possibility of burning Henry himself.

Fuck. Stupid. He should be doing this with Chobe or Esikko, someone who can actually handle an accident.]

I'm fine.

[He isn't. But even now, he can't really bring himself to be honest.

Another deep breath (deeper, at least) and he gestures for Henry to come closer. Just to hold his hand, at least, to get some level of comfort and prove to himself that he can still be touched.]

...Back to the drawing board, I guess.

[ Henry is quiet for a moment, lips pursed as he thinks of how to respond. ]

I don't think you are.

[ He wipes his hands and indeed comes closer to Dodger, scooping up his hand. ]

It's okay if you aren't. I'm still here.

[ Granted, this is his suite, but that's not what he means. ]

[Dodger takes a proper deep breath, once Henry is holding his hand. And then a few more, before he shifts closer to press his forehead against Henry's shoulder.]

You're here. So I'm fine.

[It doesn't stop the trembling of his fingers or the way his chest is heaving like a startled rabbit's, but it is comforting to have Henry close to him. Feeling the solid weight of him, breathing in his scent, reminding himself that both of those things are decidedly different from Arzial.

This feels... so stupid, to be this sexually forward and to want this man so much and be completely unable to serve him. He can't help feeling like he should be better, and stronger, than this.]

...Can you pet my hair?

[That also feels stupid, but it's the least vulnerable of the many requests rolling around in his head.]

[ Henry studies him a moment more, and then nods, giving Dodger's hand a small squeeze. ]

Alright.

[ He won't push it, even though Dodger is obviously not that fine. With a small smile, he takes his free hand and brushes it into Dodger's hair, smoothing his fingertips through the strands. ]

I can hold you, too.

[ Or is that too much? Ah, well, Henry doesn't care too much right now. The offer is there anyway. ] Or you can have a go with me, whatever you like.

[Dodger slowly starts to relax further, and the petting helps. His breath is starting to even out, and after a while he lifts his head up to press a kiss to Henry's lips.]

I want to try again. With the slime, that shit will actually work. Just... need a break first.

[For Henry's sake, he thinks, more than anything. Despite the anxiety still thrumming in him, he finds himself much more concerned with the fact that he burnt and scared someone he cares about. Exactly what he's been trying to avoid, every other time they've been together.]

[The potion is still in his veins, demanding touch. And if nothing else, it's making it easier to bounce back than it likely would be if he was sober.]

[ Henry smiles a little after the kiss, flopping down on the bed and tugging Dodger along with him. ]

[ He takes Dodger into his arms but not too tightly, so the other man can adjust himself as he sees fit. Then he'll resume the petting once they're set. ]

We'll take a break. [ He agrees, and then pauses. ] Is that ... the slime from the dungeons?

[Dodger moves with him easily, curling up against him and resting his head on Henry's chest. This is nice - the sound of his heartbeat is calming, as is the hand in his hair. It's something he pretty much better got back home, and only gets occasionally here when he's with Esikko. There's something... different, he thinks, about having a muscular man hold him. It feels safe in a way that Esikko's slender arms often don't.]

Yeah. It is.

[He shifts, just enough to glance up.]

I've gotten caught by it a couple times. And I don't panic like that, when I'm on it. I've been trying to stockpile it while they're around, but... they're probably gonna disappear soon.

[So he doesn't want to rely on it. Even if he can already feel himself forming a sort of addiction to the ease of it. There's a clear solution, that doesn't require any effort or active work to overcome his trauma, and it's hard not to reach for it more often than he already is.]

[ He rests his hand against the small of Dodger's back, glancing down at him, and then up thoughtfully. ]

Huh. I didn't know there was one that did ... that.

[ Though why should he be surprised? This entire place is ridiculous and hedonistic. On the other side of things, he actually feels a little down that all of the current surroundings will probably disappear. The forge and market and even the medieval-style privy, they'll go away soon enough. ]

That's a shame.

[ He sighs, but turns his attention back to Dodger. Though his words could apply to that as well. ] Maybe with enough practice, Viktor's potion will work. Maybe I could help him make it better.

[ Probably better qualified people (and Viktor is 10930928329384 times smarter than Henry), like this "Esikko", but since Dodger chose him to try it out on in the first place, he's kinda invested now! ]

Sometimes it just makes you need to fuck something. Like all you can think about is breeding. But I've been lucking out, I guess.

[Lucking out, either because of how deeply he wants to be the one getting fucked, or because he knows it would end poorly if he specifically was dosed with something that made him hornier and pushier than he already is. He knows what he is, even if he tries not to advertise it.]

[He shifts, leaning up so he can press a kiss to Henry's lips, and then settling back down to rest his chin on Henry's chest. Just watching him, for now.]

[He isn't really thinking about the wording of that, how concerning it might be. His tone implies that he thinks it's romantic - and he does. There's nothing more romantic in his mind than offering himself up as a tool for his partners to use. For pleasure, for stress relief, or just as a weapon against others.]

[ Hearing that makes Henry happy as well. He's glad that Dodger wants him helping. For a moment he thought that maybe he might get rejected. ]

[ At least, the first part. He's not quite sure what to make of the wording of the second. It could mean a lot of things, or get lost in translation (time period translation...) pretty easily.

So instead of dwelling, he runs his hands through Dodger's hair one more time and gives a little nod. ]

Yeah. Ready when you are.

[Dodger hums softly and leans his head against Henry's hand, savoring that last pet before he sits up.]

This time it'll work. So don't feel like you need to go slowly.

[He leans over to get the slime ooze off of the nightstand, pops the cork and downs the entire thing. Still no taste, but the smell isn't that bad so he's sure he wouldn't mind it. And more importantly, Dodger starts to give off a smell as it works through his system. Something tantalizing and arousing, to accompany the gentle rise in heat from his skin and the separate warmth spreading through his chest.

There's that familiar feeling - the physical emptiness, and the conspicuous lack of fear. In fact, combined with Viktor's potion it's difficult to think of anything except for Henry's body, how much more of them could be touching, how much he wants Henry inside of him. Dodger hums pleasurably, and leans back down to capture Henry's lips harshly.]
