[ and then his eyes glaze over with sooo many tiny letters he takes a moment to blink that through and fumbles the watch until it switches him to voice. That's just easier. ]

[ he's not actually sure he's capable of some of these things, even pretending. Especially since he does care about Dodger.

Which is not to say that he can't very easily be provoked sometimes, because he can. He also isn't sure if he's impressed or mildly frightened that Dodger thought all of this out. ]

I'd really have to be in a specific mood for some of that, you know. And I am definitely not going to stab you. Eh, probably? Unless you deserve it.

[Dodger sounds like he hasn't spoken in a few hours, and like he's exhausted. But he is, still, very happy to hear Henry's voice.]

I'm sure I could piss you off enough to get the full suite. But they're just, y'know, suggestions. We can try shit, see what you like and what you don't.

[He would love to make it sound like he's just spitballing, but he is a little disappointed that Henry isn't jumping at the opportunity. Dodger's been thinking about this a lot, and he considers these to be the much safer fantasies. Safer than... well, asking Henry on a date, or actually addressing how strongly he feels about him. At least he can argue this is still just 'fucking around'.]

[ Henry obviously has no qualms about cutting a man, but in this context he seems to struggle with it. ]

Mm, yeah. I should be able to manage most of that.

[ He'll just have to channel some of the Pack or think about things that make him angry. He does appreciate the safety measures though. Safety is important!! Even if you are constantly doing things without regards to safety at all. ] I've never — is this ... a common thing to do in bed?

Uh... yeah. I think so? Most people I sleep with are into it, at least. And it's how I got started.

[Though, maybe it should be a red flag that Dodger only recently started learning about safety measures. He isn't about to admit to that on his own.]

I wanted to wait on it until you were more... comfortable. But I think you'll like it, if you give it a shot.

[ He thinks it sounds like Dodger just needs to find people who cherish him more??? But he also thinks that maybe he isn't approaching this the way Dodger wants him to so he doesn't want to disappoint him further.

[Henry would be correct. Dodger is suffering from a critical lack of support, even here.]

[A yawn sneaks up on him. Fuck.]

Can I come over? I should probably take you up on staying in your room for a bit.

[He's still absolutely going to push for sex. But he also needs to sleep and the idea of curling up with Henry is very tempting.]

Yeah, of course.

[ at some point, the mood will hit better than others!!

but yeah he much prefers talking face to face anyway, so he's quick to respond: ]

Please do. Show yourself in.

Give me... twenty minutes.

[Dodger is a little late, it takes him closer to thirty minutes to actually show up. He appears in a flash of flames just inside the door, and greets Henry by saluting with a hand that is also holding a bottle of whiskey.

By the smell of him, he's already been drinking, even if this specific bottle is unopened - but Dodger always has something in his system, so that's hardly surprising.]

Hey. I brought an apology for the teleportation.

[ Henry flops back into bed to wait, folding an arm behind his head as a pillow. He partly thought Dodger would teleport but mostly he didn't, and so he does jump a little when his apartment is just suddenly ... flames.

And there's a "Kurva!" hissed in there. ]

Right, yeah.

[ he sits up fully, looking at the bottle Dodger's brought. ]

Peace offering accepted.

[Dodger lets out a little snort of amusement, and walks over to set the bottle on the nightstand, before kicking his shoes off and sliding onto the bed. His focus is set on giving Henry a proper greeting, straddling his lap and pressing a kiss to his lips.]

You'll get used to it, sooner or later.

[Although he'd be lying if he said he wasn't entertained by startling Henry. It's the little things in life.]

[ Henry grunts a little, but softens right away once Dodger's lips are on his. ]

I figured I would ...

[ But the fact that he's not quite there yet is frustrating!! He's also had time, while waiting for Dodger, to get sleepy all over again, so he is going to blame it on that. ]

Ah well. Doesn't matter right now anyway.

No, it doesn't.

[Dodger tips Henry onto his back, and follows him to press more kisses to his lips. Chaste at first, and slowly deepening as he gets into it. He just wants to indulge a bit, before he breaks off to rest his head against Henry's shoulder.]

Mmm... I wanna fuck you senseless, but I'll probably pass out right afterward.

[Probably not, actually. Dodger has a lot of trouble sleeping just because it's difficult to actually use up all of his energy, and there's still the constant anxiety from having someone near him. But he can dream, because it sure would be nice to actually get some sleep and get to lay in Henry's arms.]

[ Henry moves his arms up to rest against Dodger's hips, lifting his head up slightly to meet the kisses. He laughs softly and sleepily against Dodger's lips. ]

Oh, you do?

[ He never could have guessed! ]

Then I might spend all day in bed.

[Dodger's gaze softens, and he sneaks in one more kiss.]

Sounds like a good plan to me.

[He's trying bravely to pretend that this is just about sex, but he's stoked about the idea of just laying here. And even more so about Henry purposefully making time for him.

After a brief pause, he sits up and works on shrugging his jacket off. For now he leaves it on the bed, within arm's reach.]

I got my hands on something fun a while ago, I've been meaning to show you. How'd you like to be fireproof for a bit?

I don't think anyone else I've ever known would ever say that.

[ Martin and Hans would hate it, his mother would chastise him, etc. He's always got to be up and about. But then, no one's paying attention to that here are they? Maybe one lazy day is fine.

Besides, Dodger's got his attention mentioning something about being fireproof. ]

Actually, there was something I wanted to ask you about that. I might have found something too.

[That earns an amused snort. Sure, Dodger doesn't know many people either who would be pleased with him spending all day in bed, but surely they'd consider it different if he's spending it with a lover instead of bed-rotting.

At that last bit, though, Dodger's eyes light up and he ends up laughing.]

Don't tell me you ran into him, too.

[He reaches into some hidden pocket of his jacket, and pulls out a vial - one of John's Space Mead potions.]

I was thinking of you when I got a few of these.

[ Henry blinks blearily for a couple of seconds but then ends up laughing too, especially once Dodger reveals a vial that Henry has definitely seen before. He felt kind of silly at the time, but knowing they were on the same page is not only amusing, it feels better. ]

I did, yeah.

[ He did get some other potions!! For dungeon diving. But the heat one specifically he immediately thought of Dodger (and then felt a bit guilty for immediately thinking of Dodger). ]

It might work then? They won't last forever of course, but I thought maybe you wouldn't have to be so careful all the time.

Might work. Haven't tried it, but... John's powerful. And I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

[He's still a little unnerved by John, but he's proven to be incredibly safe from what Dodger has seen of him. An odd thing to think, about someone who is able to burn Dodger and who could definitely kill him if he wanted to.

He presses the vial into Henry's hand, and rolls off of him to give himself space to pull his pants off, and then his shirt. Today's boxers seem to be blank... which probably means they've got something raunchy on the back.]

Drink up and strip.

Right. I'll believe that.

[ He and John didn't really get into what he was, other than not human. It's better Henry be brought in slowly to that. He just appreciated his work as an apothecary and that's that.

Grunting a little as he sits and drops his legs over the side of the bed, he pulls off the shirt he'd been wearing and then stands. Normally he wouldn't believe he's doing this at the asscrack of dawn but ... it's Dodger. And Henry has already decided he'll be a little forgiving of his daily routine if it means the man will get some rest (eventually).

So gives a raised brow to the blank boxers, pops open the vial, and downs it before he starts to pull off his own underwear. After a bit of a cough from downing the potion. They never taste quite right. ]

[Dodger lets out a soft, amused noise at the cough. Yeah, he can't imagine it would taste good. Although most of his focus is just on watching Henry strip, and openly admiring his body as it's uncovered. Then he pauses briefly to pull his boxers off - ah, there it is, there's a lipstick mark printed on the back.

Once they're both bare, Dodger motions for Henry to come closer, and runs a hand over his chest - at first it's just that feverishly warm temperature that's normal for him, but he slowly starts to turn the heat up.]

Tell me if this starts to hurt.

[His skin will eventually heat up enough that it starts to glow, like heated metal, make the air shimmer around him. But it's slow, figuring the potion will need some time to properly kick in.]

[ At the very least, Henry knows he hasn't been poisoned, so that's a plus. He's able to pull his underwear off and stand up straight again (and see the back of Dodger's boxers) without issue. There is something happening though, he thinks. Not a tingling sensation exactly but he is acutely aware something is going on.

He nods as Dodger approaches him. The muscles of his chest do tense but it's out of instinct, like he's expecting it to be too hot. When it's not terribly bad, he relaxes again. He can feel that it's warm of course, but he doesn't feel like he's about to be scalded. ]

So far, so good I think.

[ His eyes widen a little as Dodger's hands start to glow like a piece of smithing metal. Part of him is kind of nervous, but part of him is fascinated too. ]

[Dodger's eyes light up, when he heats up about as hot as he can go and manages not to do any damage. Proof that Henry is safe in his hands, or as safe as anyone can be. He can't help feeling a little giddy about it.]

Good... then I don't have to hold back.

[His hand wanders up from Henry's chest, briefly resting at his throat, then his cheek, and finally tangling in his hair to guide him into a kiss. Dodger's other hand moves lower, pressing along Henry's abs before wrapping around his cock to just play with it idly. Both hands stay white-hot, just because he can and he figures Henry should get to experience the joys of that unnatural heat.]

[ Henry can't stop the little thrill of excitement that runs through him at the idea that someone as dangerous as Dodger doesn't have to hold back with him. Not that it's ever been bad, he just likes a little danger, and he doesn't like feeling that he's too weak.

He smiles against Dodger's lips, sliding his own hands to rest on hips. It still is a little strange to know that he's being touched by scorching heat and it isn't roasting him alive. Maybe he'll try to talk to John sometime and figure out how it all works.

For now he's moaning softly as Dodger teases his body awake, deepening the kiss as he tugs the two of them back toward the bed. ]

[Dodger ends up laughing softly against Henry's lips, and nipping him gently while he follows that guidance to move them back to the bed. It's pure excitement spilling out of him, at being able to let loose and at Henry trusting him with this.

When they get close to the bed, Dodger's hands move low to grip Henry's thighs and pick him up, just so they don't have to break apart to get situated. He lifts the younger man as easily as if he was weightless, climbing onto the bed and laying Henry on his back to keep pressing kisses to his lips. And then letting his mouth stray down, kissing and nipping at his neck with more hunger than normal. If that's even possible.]

[ Most people couldn't just pick Henry up like he was a head of cabbage so he gives a startled sound as Dodger's hands find their way to his thighs. He huffs softly once his back is against the mattress. ] Fuck.

[ It's partially because he's getting aroused and partially because that threw him off guard. Doesn't matter either way.

He rolls his head back some to give Dodger more room at his neck, not that he needs any encouragement apparently. His hands stay wandering along Dodger's sides and back. Anything he can reach without them moving too much, really. ]
